The Hillbilly Killers at the Caravan Music Club 30/03/13

I thought I would be working by Easter but it was not to be, as I wasn't going away anywhere I was looking forward to this gig.

Support for the night was from the always great Lisa Miller and Shane O'Mara.

I had seen Catherine Britt before a couple of years ago at the Queenscliff Music Festival, but it was a different sort of show. Bill Chambers was new to me as he plays more serious country music than I usually get to see. Tim Rogers was the same as always.

What I liked most about the show is that everyone was having a good time, Tim Rogers kept making Catherine crack up laughing and even Bill Chambers had a chuckle. It was the first show of their tour, but I thought they played very well together.

They finished quite early, but did do a substantial encore and hopefully they had a good time at Boogie Festival the next day.
