Northcote Beach Party

Mikelangelo had asked if I would come to this show when he did the Cramps classic album last month at Pure Pop so I agreed. I know there was the Yarra Hotel launch and the Three Pairs gig at the Caravan Music Club but I can't be everywhere at once.

My friend was going to come, but ended up going somewhere else.

I did like Tas Fleming's Hawaiian Trio, but some of the audience were far too loud while they were playing. Take the conversation outside, not right next the stage!

For some reason I thought Mikelangelo would play later in the night, but they played second. Special guests included Go Girl Gadget Go Go and Saint Clare. My favourite parts of the set included the bongo drums falling down and when Mikelangelo kicked the beach ball and it rebounded and hit him in the head without it even making it off the stage.

I left not long after the start of Flap as I wanted to be able to get the tram home, but everyone seemed to be having a good time.
