Acrobat vs. Idiot at Melbourne Fringe 27/09/14

I had already had a big week at Fringe and also Shut Up and Dance the previous night. Luckily I went straight to bed when I got home and downloaded the photos in morning to save being up too late. The Grand Final was on, but I did not watch it as usual and a lot of the audience replied that they were not interested when Die Roten Punkte asked the same question.

It was an interesting night and I did not know what the format was going to be when I arrived. There were a lot of shows that I only found out about from going to this event. Unfortunately I did not get to see any of the shows that the performers featured in apart from the Birdmann's but it was nice to see them any way.

The last time I saw Die Roten Punkte was at a charity event earlier in the year, so it was great to see them again. They got to do a song or two and hosted the night.

While I enjoyed the circus acts the most on the night, it was interesting to see some new comic acts as I don't often get to see new stand ups these days with most of my time being taken up seeing music.

It was a great night and hopefully something similar is on in the future.
