Club Twok at Bella Union 06/09/14

I had missed the last two of these due to having another gig and MIFF on so I was looking forward to this one. The Twoks had supported Manny Fox recently but I had not been to that one. I had most recently seen the Twoks perform at Glen Eira Town Hall.

As it turned out I had seen some of the members of Manny Fox before when they played as part of the band at the ASRC benefit at the Northcote Town Hall earlier in the year. There were a few more people than the last time I was at Club Twok for the first band, but not many people wanted to dance. Xani and Meg did and I lasted one song.

The Twoks now have a new drum just for Xani to play on so she doesn't get in the way of Mark and Meg joined in some of the songs on bass also. As usual I only stayed for the first set, but it was good night and I was glad to have gone.
