Queenscliff Music Festival 2014 - Sunday

Tides of Welcome, Aluka, Hurray for the Riff Raff, The Waifs, Charm of Finches
Sunday 30th November 2014

Tides of Welcome are the one band I have seen for all ten years of the festival, I was happy to be able to make it to see them as they only played once this festival. The Sunday QMF Express was impossible to choose from so I was glad I did not have to.

Also getting to see Aluka in the same venue cleared up a lot of choices for me. They remembered me seeing them at the festival five years ago also and said hello while they were on stage.

Hurray for the Riff Raff were one of the bands I was happy to see as I have enjoyed hearing their stuff and they had a lot of moxie as it were. For some reason I decided to go see the Waifs, but ended up going to get an African sausage instead.

The mother of the girls in Charm of Finches had asked me to come see them the previous day, so I dropped in to see them and then ended up leaving early as it was time again. I was glad of it as I was not really into the headliner for this day and I had a long trip back to Melbourne afterwards with a rest stop at Sarah's. It was a great weekend and thanks to Sarah and family for her hospitality. Even Hermsley although he has a funny way of showing it.
