I had missed the 20th birthday party for Basement Discs the previous week due to having a benefit gig to attend but was looking forward to this day.

I was glad to see Georgia Fields and Eagle and the Worm after missing seeing them the previous year.

After that I went to get lunch and see a couple of bands at Off the Hip. A friend walked through the door who only arrived from Germany the night before so I ended up staying a bit longer.

Arriving back at Basement Discs I did get to see the end of Mike Rudd's set and Ian Bland just ended up giving away most of the prize packs due to the same people answering most of the questions.

It was a fun day and there were quite a few albums that look worth buying in the future.
