Ron Peno and band - the songs of Died Pretty at the Flying Saucer Club 13/09/14

Died Pretty were a bit before my time and I managed to miss their reunion gigs unfortunately. I have enjoyed seeing the Darling Downs and the Superstitions though and was interested in seeing this show as I wanted to see Ron Peno do some of his older songs.

As expected it sold out and had so much interest that a second show was already put on sale. The venue now has a roped off area for general admission so people do not get in the way of the tables as happened in the past.

I could not really get many photos except for sitting on the floor during the first song so I watched most of the show from the couch beside the stage, probably for the best as I actually saw more of the show than I would have usually.

Not sure if I will make it back for the next show, but I am glad that I made it to this one and hopefully Ron Peno plays a few more around the place in this format as there are sure to be more people interested.
