Sally Seltman at the Caravan Music Club 11/04/14

with Wintercoats
Caravan Music Club, Friday 11th April 2014

I had been looking forward to this for a while and always thought Sally Seltman should have played out at this venue rather than the Corner Hotel. For this tour she is playing smaller venues such as the Kelvin Club.

The support act for the night was Wintercoats who I got to hear play his sound check. Even though he is only playing a violin he makes a big sound due to having a delay pedal like the Twoks or Mal Webb that can build up the tracks in sections. I did get asked how he was doing the tracks at one point.

Sally Seltman has recently released an album and came back to Australia for a tour after living in the USA for a couple of years. I was happy to hear that she played quite a few of the tracks off her old album and also some New Buffalo tracks including one she rarely plays live. It was good to see her again and I hope to tour goes well.
