Damian Cowell's Disco Machine Launch

with Tim Woodz and the Dirty Shoes, Frankie Walnut and special guests
Corner Hotel, Friday 20th February 2015

I had backed Damian Cowell's album on Pozible quite a while ago and was looking forward to the launch that seemed to be getting further away each month.

Due to it being too busy in December and everyone being on holiday in January it ended up being in February which was good for me as I did not have much on that weekend.

Broads were originally meant to support, but due to a gig clash Tim Woodz and Frank Walnut supported and were pretty good I thought.

I did arrive early and got to say hello to Bek and Emily who were doing the backing vocals and other instruments for the show.

Even though I was up the front people still managed to push in front of me somehow but I still think I got some good photos.

It was a great show with a lot of the guest vocalists from the album turning up for the launch. I liked Tony Martin's appearance as Hector the Safety Cat especially.

Big highlight was the disco medley at the end including the first time Damian Cowell has performed even part of a TISM song since the band stopped playing.

Thanks to Rachel for standing with me during the show and giving me a lift home afterwards as I had to get up early the next day.
