The Junes at the Lomond 27/06/15

The Junes do not get to play in Melbourne that much due to Gleny and Dougie Bull living interstate and it is three of their birthdays in June so it was already a big month for them.

I had listened to them earlier in the day on Twang but missed the end as Gleny said she gave me a shout out.

Originally I had planned to go have dinner at B.EAST on the way but it was too busy due to it being a Saturday so I just had dinner up the road instead. More than I would usually pay for dinner by the Lomond was busy as it was when I got there and had large amounts of machinery outside working on the new superstop.

I was determined not to leave early and so ended up staying right to the end of the gig even though it meant missing the tram and having to go down to Lygon St. Luckily I did make the 3A tram but I did not end up getting home until 2am.

It was a great night and I did not even have to try to get as many photos of Sarah, Suzannah and Gleny laughing as possible as it was harder to find ones in which they were not. I hope Gleny and Dougie Bull have a good time in the USA and I look forward to seeing the Junes play again soon.
