Shovels and Rope at the Caravan Music Club 03/03/15

This was a bit of a last minute gig as I usually have Go Go Class this night and don't like to miss it. I had heard good things about both of these bands and decided to try and make it even though I am working.

Shakey Graves was interesting and he mostly played as a solo act with the drummer only on some songs.

Shovels and Rope were a band I had not heard much of before but hopefully they will tour again in the future as they were quite popular this time around and I liked their songs. I ended up leaving early but I did get to see them swap roles over and Cary Ann Hearst has a powerful singing voice.
