Elivs Anniversary Tribute Show 27/08/16
with the Cosmpolitans, Knave and His Big Band

Knave Knix had asked me to come photograph this show a while ago and I was happy to as the venue is not going to be around for much longer so I wanted to see a gig there before the end.
The show had sold out so I was lucky to have made it. There were a lot of Elvis shows on the same weekend but this was the one I was at. Leading up to the show bass player Nathan posted the entire story of Elvis meeting President Nixon in instalments on the event page to much amusement.
When the band started I did not know they were going to go straight through to the end and I had to go to RRR FM the next day so around half way through I ended up leaving. I did try and ask if there was going to be an interval but no one could give me an answer at the time.
It was not because I was sick of it, more that if I waited too long I would not get home until late and then have to upload the photos to my computer. Also I wouldn't have enough time to get any sleep as I got up and pretty much straight away left to go up to East Brunswick to go RRR. A friend who stayed to see the whole show did not get home until 3am that night.
