Mikelangelo and the Black Sea Gentlemen at Basement Discs 06/05/16

I did go to Record Store Day but had not made any of the in store performances for a while.

I had not seen Mikelangelo since his farewell show before Christmas and I had not seen him play with the Black Sea Gentlemen before.

Was quite a few people when I arrived as I was running a bit late. I ended up going around to the other side and was surprised to see a band do a walk through the crowd, with Mikelangelo stopping to kiss a man on the cheek.

Was some good songs during the performance and each of the band members got to have a go at singing and also do some audience participation.

The album sounds good from what I have heard of it and I was invited to take photos at the launch the next night.
