Square Sounds Melbourne 2016 - Friday

I was not sure if I was going to make this festival due to not working since Christmas. Luckily I was invited as a guest of the festival due to taking photos last year.

It was much hotter than I thought it was going to be on the night so I was prepared to stay for a while depending on how I felt.

Luckily this year I knew some more people and it seemed like there was a more mixed crowd. The chiptunes scene in Australia is still so small everyone is good friends and everyone is very open which each other and guests from overseas.

It was very hot and I was tired but I did enjoy Los Pat Mortias who decided to come dance in the crowd for one of his songs and it was surprising to see Wiklund do the Australian national anthem at the start of his set since he was from Sweden.

I ended up leaving very early but was determined to stay a bit later the next night.
