Warner Brothers 30th Birthday

I had heard about this one coming up but had not been working so I did not know if I was going to make it. Thanks to Dan for putting me on the door.

I was not living in Melbourne during the heyday of the Warner Brothers and was too young to be going out to gigs any way. I did not even know Dan until after I started listening to JVG Radio Method in the early 2000s. I mainly have SMS from Dan these days calling JVG a dickhead as he is not on Facebook that much.

It was good to see Dan and Al playing before their Christmas show as that is still a fair way off.

Most of the audience had seen the band back in the day so I did not know a lot of them but a lot of them seemed to know me somehow. I ended up at the side of the stage with most of James Stewart's family watching the show.

It was a great show including the special guests and the band is going to have another show at the Winnebago Lounge coming up.
