I had missed this back in November as I didn't know it was on and went and saw the Sweethearts instead. Since I had not seen them for 5 years it was worth it but I was not going to miss this show again.

Having seen Casey's Half Arsed Three shows and the ASRC benefit for about 10 years in a row I knew the type of show I was in for. They pay tribute to the artist by having fun and they sure did so.

It wasn't a serious show as you would not expect anything by Casey to be as I have trouble understand when he is being serious.

With this show everyone knew the words so any mistakes by the band would be severely punished by the audience continuing to sing over the top of them. Much amusement from Casey stealing chips and grabbing beers off table "he's only demeaning himself" but I knew this was on the cards as I once saw Casey try and gargle a bundy and coke through a melodica.

I was happy to provide prodigious photos of this show as there is no video as that is one thing that is frowned upon at these shows. The one time I saw Casey get actually upset was someone filming at one of his Half Arsed Three shows as it is about taking risks in a safe environment without having it spread everywhere.

I can safely say this was one of the funniest shows I have seen in ages, it had no business being that funny but it was. Well worth going to if you see it pop up in the future.
