High Ace "Snowcap Menance" Album Launch

After getting this slightly confused this was actually on I remembered it was a Saturday afternoon gig and the previous week's gig had been early evening.

Quite appropriate with this confusion the first conversation I had with Jeff Lang on the street outside was over the contents of a sausage roll from a Sydney Rd bakery and then I went and got some toothpaste and hot chocolate from Aldi.

It had been quite a while since I had seen Jeff Lang and Alison Ferrier play together and was particularly looking forward to seeing Alison play as she is a really great guitar player.

Georgia Rodgers was support and I got to say hello to Gina her partner who I knew from life drawing as a model. They did do a "draw and listen" show together with Gina posing and Georgia providing the soundtrack. I would like to see it at one of the regular sessions I go to if I could make it.

I don't remember having seen Jess Parker before but she seemed nice. I will try to remember so can go see her in the future.

The main show was great and made all the better from Alison being a terror on-stage and talking to people as they went past to go to the toilet. It was an afternoon gig but there was another show not long after they had to bump out for, I was asked if I wanted to stay but had already committed to it so had to refuse.
