The Mersh, Saturday 26th March 2022

I was asked if I was going to be available about a month before this gig and I always appreciate people asking me early so I said yes.

The Rebelles have only recently been able to practice in person in the one place due to capacity restrictions so this was their first gig in two and half years.

They had also written a bunch of new songs they wanted to try out and gotten a new member in the backing band who had not had a live gig with them even though he had been in the band for two years. I did talk to some members of the band about Pitchface's upcoming show which has also almost sold out so book a ticket quick.

It was a good gig and finished early enough that I was home at a reasonable hour since the venue is over my side of the city for once. I will try to see them again in the future if they play somewhere else.
