It was so cold and windy I ended up going to Misery Guts for a giant toastie and $10 margarita and saw Sarah walk past the window, but she was too fast so didn't see me wave and I did not see her walk back either.

I did eventually go over the road to wait outside the venue as it was a much more reasonable time to wait. I had not expected the gig at Fed Square to be over so early.

Sarah played a bunch of new songs and it was an intimate audience. I had not been to George Lane since the New Year's Eve show a couple of years ago where I left before midnight due to the main act being too drunk. I did talk to the band booker and said I will see how go I for future gigs as I am not big on Friday nights since I finish early these days and don't like to go home and then out.

Thanks to Sarah and Shannon for giving me a lift home and it is much easier with the new overpass at Hoppers Crossing now.
