Was a bit tired after the night before but I already had a table booking so I decided to go. Well I thought I had a table booking but they couldn't find it.

It was good to see Mark Ferrie's Instant Noodles again even though I told JVG I feel guilty for talking during them as they can be a bit too low key sometimes. Different sort of music than I usually go to see, more of a chilled out groove band that you are meant to have in the background. They do play at a tiki bar in Yarraville called the Vault every Saturday but don't advertise as it is mainly a local's place.

Was strangely looking forward to Jonnie Goes to Church due to Celia Church being involved who does reign in some of JVG's worst impulses including making fun of him before every song. She should co-host his radio show one time. It would go for twice as long but would be funny. I enjoyed their songs including the new one Celia did about her hairdresser.

As a special treat at the end both the bands combined to do a couple of songs and JVG got to cut lose like he used to do with Guitar Method. Ended up leaving much later than I usually do due to talking with Tim Thorpe and had to run away from an ice-head down at Union Square tram stop. Uber home by the time I got to the city as I was sick of it.
