Tramway Hotel, Sunday 4th December 2022

It had been quite a while since I had seen Van and Cal playing together so I wanted to go to this even though I was suffering after going to the Good Things Festival on the Friday. Also having to get off the train into the city due to drunks and mothers abusing their kids on the Werribee line plus it was a stinking hot day.

I had to laugh at only Cal being dressed for the heat and also the bar staff thinking I was with the band since I was talking with them so casually.

Even though it was tempting I refrained from asking they do "Wildgrass" every song. I have seen Van crack it at people talking during that song for talking and he hardly plays it these days and not at all with the Ferriters which is an entirely different project. Is always great to see Cal too and hopefully Go Go Sapien gets a kick out when Emily and Wil's bub gets a bit older in a few years.
