The Detonators

I hadn't had the chance to see the Detonators since the Queenscliff Music Festival so I was looking forward to seeing them especially in the front bar at the Greyhound as I knew they would sound good there.

After the wrestling last night it was a relief to see something a bit less violent (apart from the dancing that is.) Also Dave from the band surprised me by saying his other band wants to use one of my photos for his CD, which was nice.

My friend also surprised me by turning up as she doesn't usually come to this venue and she also has her radio show on the same night. I hadn't seen her since before Christmas last year so it was good to catch up. It was good to introduce her to someone else I know and she had a lot of fun dancing.

I still don't have any Detonators CDs for some reason, but I will try and rectify that next time I see them (hopefully when I have some money.) I highly recommend going to see them for not only a "top night out" but also if you like watching people dancing.
