The Level Spirits SXSW Send-Off
with the Mini-Bikes, Money for Rope, Dan Sultan, DJ Ken Eavel It was the quickest I could possibly get into town, but unfortunately I only got to see the last bit of the Minibikes as I misjudged the time and thought they were going to start later based on my previous experience with the venue. It was still good to see Marcel and the band though. Money for Rope also played well, but I thought there would have been more people as they are a popular enough band now. Dan Sultan played a few songs on keyboard and apologised to all the keyboard players and "anyone who can hear", I thought they sounded nice. The Level Spirits sounded great and I even recorded a video of the first song. I wished there could have been more people, but it was a long weekend and Golden Plains. Hopefully the welcome home gig has lots of people. Molly and her friends kicked on, but I wanted to go get dinner afterwards and go home so I left them to it.
