The Eggs, Kids in Cults, Tijuana SouvenirsPint on PuntFriday, 18th May 2007 I hadn't been going out on Fridays as much as everything seemed to be on the weekends this year, but as there were some bands coming up at the Pint for the next few weeks I wanted to see I decided to change my routine. After having a rest for a while the Eggs played first which was a relaxed start to the evening. I hadn't heard of Kids in Cults before, but I had noticed Tijuana Souvenirs from their Myspace and was waiting for them to play a gig closer to me so I could go see them. Kids in Cults reminded me somewhat of the now-departed band the Bankers and hopefully they will play around town with the Eggs from time to time also. For some reason I thought Tijuana Souvenirs was an all-girl band, but I had gotten them confused with another band. I enjoyed them and they did a good job considering a lot of people were watching the footy during their set and a Corey Haim movie afterwards. Hopefully Kids in Cults and Tijuana Souvenirs come back soon and I am looking forward to the big line-up next week also.
