Wolfgramm Sisters, Jack Howard and the NightbirdsPure Pop Records, Sunday 21st March 2010 I had asked Dave from Pure Pop about this gig months ago and was looking forward to it as I hadn't seen the Wolfgramm Sisters since RRR BBQ Day last year. Cheers to Bec and Lush who also made it down to see the Wolfies. I bought the Wolfgramm Sisters CD when I came out and really wanted to hear some of the songs live, it was great. Special mention of the dog who barked after every song. Even though I had seen Jack Howard play on Grand Final Eve last year and with the Models Super Orchestra, I hadn't seen his band the Nightbirds as yet. It was a shame there were some technical problems, but I still think they played a good set. I had to leave straight after Jack Howard so I would get to the East Brunswick Club in time to see Sarah, but I am sure everyone enjoyed Stu Thomas' band. I will try to make it down to see Van Walker and Liz Stringer at Pure Pop in the next couple of months.
