The Paesanos, The JoelenesGreyhound Hotel, Sunday 13th January 2008 I had heard the Joelenes on the radio last year and was looking forward to seeing them, so it was great they were playing a local gig as although I do go up to Brunswick a lot, I wanted to make Sarah's show also. Filling in for the Devil Goat Family String Band were the Paesanos who I thought went great despite the lead singer saying he was still sick from the previous night's festivities. Even though I only stayed for the first set of the Joelenes, I thought they went really well and I look forward to seeing them south of the Yarra in future.
