Memo Music Showcase 21/09/19

27/27/2019

with MC Michael Crane, Alison Ferrier, Lisa Miller, Rebecca Barnard, Angie Hart, George Wilson, Shane O'Mara Trio with Rick Plant and Ben Weisner, Fenn Wilson, The Cartridge Family
Memo Music Hall, Saturday 21st September 2019

I had heard about this event months ago as I was asked to help out by providing photos for the promotion. I would have gone anyway as there were so many people I knew that were playing. Luckily it was booked so long ago as Jazz Party and Freya Josephine Hollick were playing on the same night.

There were a lot of people on the bill so it made sense to have the first set being each act having a few short songs and then having the Cartridge Family having most of the second set. It felt weird seeing them play in the evening as they mainly play gigs during the day when I see them.

It was a great gig and hopefully they will have another showcase gig in the New Year.
