This gig kind of came up at the last minute and I wasn't planning on going due to still being on earlies but as I had managed to get the day off the next day (I went to see the French Dispatch) I wanted to go see Ian as it had been two years since I saw him.

I was not really surprised to be one of the only ones there since everyone would still be tired from Out on the Weekend the previous day and it was annoying trying to get into the city that day due to no trains on pretty much any line.

Ian had a couple of new songs this time but did not do any reading as that works better when there is more people and I am not sure if he even had anything to go with.

It had been a while since I went to the Lomond so I made sure I had dinner and some drinks there. I was still dehydrated from the day before. I even ended up staying longer than usual to see most of the second set which I rarely do at this venue as the band tends to wander off and it takes me over 2 hours to get home.
