I hadn't seen Jazz Party for ages and although I did get to see Loretta at Archies Creek Hotel when I went over for lunch at Christmas I had not seen her play for a long time.

There was a movie I had wanted to see in the afternoon, but I did not know there were works on the line until I went to the train station so I had to get an Uber there. After the movie I got on the wrong bus and started going back towards Werribee.

As it turned out I got there way too early as it was so I ended up having dinner at the Victoria Hotel next door.

I had not been to the venue before but I had heard of other people I know there.

Loretta's band that played was the more stripped-back version of her Jazz Party band with just the key members and people who know each other very well.

I liked the songs they played and even the band got to do a couple of songs at the start. There was a special dedication for Tracey Miller who was sick and could not make it so Loretta sang the song she usually does.

Due to the gig starting early the show finished a lot earlier than I am used to also. As I had a gig the next day I went to bed as soon as I got home which took ages due to the bus.
