Mick Thomas Roving Commission at Memo Music Hall 30/07/2021

29/29/2021

Memo Music Hall, Friday 30th July 2021

I was lucky enough to get to Liz Stringer's album launch between lockdowns and was glad to be able to get to this show also even though it was an early show and only one set.

Due to coming straight from work I decided to get dinner after and went down to see Fred and Dave at Surabaya Johnny's just before he was about to finish. They went off to get some fresh air and I wandered off. I had not been down that way since seeing Mick Harvey in January so I just ended up having a sundae from Ben and Jerry's on the street waiting for the doors to open.

Due to being allocated seating in the venue I did not really get to take many photos as I cannot get close to take them. I talked to Gerald at the next table for half an hour thinking he was Hoppy.

Was still a great show even though they only had the one set and they got everyone to leave as soon as they finished. I was at Topolino's for dinner after which was strange as I never usually get there before 12am most times I am in St Kilda.
