Brunswick Ballroom, Sunday 14th November 2021

I was looking for something to go to on my birthday weekend as I was working on the actual day of my birthday and didn't want to be out too late the day before.

After buying the ticket I emailed Tripod's website only to be told that I could have got on the door if I had asked. I had not considered that since new COVID safe restrictions mostly mean door spots are not as common. During the time leading up to the show I was asked to come early to get some photos during sound check and then some shots of the audience while the show was on which I was happy to do.

It was hard not to laugh during the soundcheck and distract them. Also having no context to the some of the songs was interesting as I had not heard some of the songs before. I did have a table up the front but ended up giving it up for Simon Hall's parents as Wil was looking for a table for them.

There were a heap of people in for the show and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Their next show at the venue will have some Christmas merch but I am also going to Swingin' Bella Christmas on the Sunday before Christmas so I will see them then.
