Prior to the Leaps and Bounds Festival gigs being rescheduled this was the last gig I had booked in 2021 that was still waiting to go to so I was looking forward to seeing it.

Due to starting early at my job I ended up going to the Railway Hotel for dinner to see what it was like after renovations and still arrived too early for doors for the dinner and show crowd. As I did not get dinner and show tickets it was just general admission. I am happy to go see gigs there but maybe not dinner there every time. This happened a lot more when I was going to the Caravan Music Club several times a week too.

I had heard a bit about this show but was not sure if it was fully a performance or variety type show such as they used to have with In Oakleigh Tonight.

As it turns out it was a bit of radio play and live chat show mixed in with some music but there was the performance aspect there.

The show is set in the Bohemian Heights community radio station on the late shift with Tim Rogers, the foley guy obsessed with Jack Foley facts, JVG in the booth (where he belongs) and work experience member Celia who was filling in for Jane and Kelly who could not make it.

Special guests for the night were Virginia Trioli who managed to upstage Tim in her jacket and had an entertaining chat and Georgia Mooney who played some of her new songs.

Tim Rogers did some songs during the show but not really any of his own or the ones you would expect him to do.

This was an interesting show and also the audience dressed up for the show which was good to see. Something different than the usual gig and hopefully I will get to see it again in the future with the Broads back in the line-up.
