I had enjoyed Checkerboard Lounge well enough when I saw them at the Fitzroyalty gig but always seem to have something else on when they are playing as is usual.

Due to not having anything else on this weekend I decided to just go to this gig and not run around so much as April was too busy for me.

Pollyman performed with just George this time but he did do a new song. Looking forward to some more new songs after George comes back from overseas.

It turned out to be quite a few people in the end considering it was during the day with a lot of dancers as they did the thing where they split the dance floor to make room. Seems like a lot of people having been seeing this band for a while. I know some of them as they used to play with Casey Bennetto when he was doing the Half Arsed Three gig.

I thought the new singles went pretty well and hopefully they will sell a lot of them. I will see how I go with getting to the band's gigs in the future.
