Even though TISM played last year in their place, I kind of missed seeing Damian Cowell's Disco Machine show last year they usually had at the end of the year. I did not go to any of the TISM "secret" shows due to having something else on and my leg was playing up at the Good Things festival so I didn't get to enjoy them even when I did see them. My leg did seem better going into this one but 7 months of the chiropractor every week would do that.

It was like old times with the same people I remember from previous gigs there even Marcus Schmerl and his partner over from Adelaide for the weekend. As a special treat Carbie Warbie even turned up who I had not seen at one of these gigs before. I think I may have talked to random people in the crowd thinking they were someone else at one point in the night.

Twinkle Digitz was up first and a reasonable amount of people there to see him perform including Emily but I could not get a photo of her watching in the crowd this time as it was too dark.

Damian Cowell explained that this is an evolution of the band and it is no longer "Disco Machine" due to DRW taking over management and him wanting to have him out the front. He does have three other bands after TISM that they can get songs from now and they do a TISM medley for the encore.

It was a great show and I even went and got a pizza to eat on the train after dodging Carlton supporters on the way out. Much excitement was had from someone collapsing at the front door and having to be helped out by some punters.
