Dicko's 50th Birthday

Dicko invited me to this ages ago and it was his birthday so I wasn't going to miss it. Dicko is one of the only people who will actually ring me on my phone, might be when I make a crack about Collingwood but hey it is still a call.

I already had comedy festival stuff on but arranged for the last show to be over and done by 7pm so I could get there early enough.

Unfortunately it was pissing with rain all night and the place was packed out by the time I got there but no matter I found somewhere to sit down.

Seemed like a few people where there to see Crank Williams first but the bulk were there for Dicko's birthday. Hoss and Ross from Boxwars made an appearance, as Ross would say they can't occupy the same space. No actual Boxwars shenanigans this time but Ross is playing in the band these days so that is enough.

I never actually went to the first gig the Boxwars turned up to the Greyhound with the Boxwars for but was there for the one at the Pint.

There were some visitors from interstate for this show including young Jack who I hope has a good trip to France. I had not seen him for a while.

The night finished pretty early since there is a curfew there. I decided to treat myself to a ride home since it was still pissing with rain and I didn't want to have to walk home from the station. Toast for late dinner and then straight to bed.
