I had agreed to go to this show ages ago and did not mean to go out three days in a row but these things happen.

This was the last time Vanessa would be doing the Dolly show in Melbourne so it was going to be a special one.

I arrived pretty early and did get a photo of the Dolly beauty station. As with last time I got a ticket only to find out I was already on the door.

I had not seen Queenie before even though I had been meaning to for some time. I thought she went well.

They added even more songs for this show and said it originally started with Vanessa getting up for just one song with the band until they had enough to do a set for Out on the Weekend. Vanessa did not even wear the wig or dress up when I first saw it, but she thought she was cheating herself out of the experience so decided to do it for the other shows.

All the best for Vanessa and her partner for their new life in the USA, I hope to keep in touch over social media.
