Brunswick Ballroom, Sunday 14th May 2023

After missing the first two of these I was determined to make it to this one. As it turned out I did not need to rush off due to having an appointment the next morning so I did not have to worry about that at least but I was still tired from the day before.

There were too many people to list anyone as a highlight in particular and I don't want to play favourites. It was great to see LadyChoir again as I had not gotten to see them for ages. I did get to talk to Angie Hart briefly. I did get to get a photo of George and Fenn with Sarah but was not quick enough to get one of JVG hugging them.

All the songs are ones that the performers had done on the radio that day and had been going backwards and forwards while the show was on to do soundcheck and such.

I wish I had been able to get better photos but there was something wrong with the lights for the first half. It did get a bit better for the second half. I would not say anything but someone already commented on one of the photos.

It was a great show and makes me miss being able to go to the ones at the Caravan Music Club when they used to do them quite a bit. There is the Bob Dylan tribute coming up but I went to that last year and have another gig to go to anyway.
