The Orbweavers "When it Rains in Broken Hill" Single Launch

Although they had done some duo gigs recently the Orbweavers had not done a full band gig for four years. They were meant to do a show for Rising in 2021 but it got cancelled due to lockdowns that year so I was looking forward to this one.

Andrew Tuttle was support but not sure if his laptop was not working or people talking too loudly during his set. Was a table that played Uno when he was on

Zena Cumpston did a short speech on her work as an artist and importance of the country where the Orbweavers had done the artistic residency.

The Orbweavers played several new songs they worked on in Broken Hill and hope to have a new album next year. No one was playing Uno during their set.

After the show I did get to talk to Marita who said she didn't tell the toilet story this time as they were pressed for time. I ended up going down to Eat Pierogi Make Love on Lygon St for dinner, was a good day.
