The Cartridge Family 23/03/24

06/06/2024

Union Hotel Brunswick, Saturday 23rd March 2024

Since I was already planning to go see Don Walker later in the evening I decided to go to this one also. Was good to go after a rough week that turned out to be my last at that job as there is only a certain number of times you can sleep less than 4hrs in a week.

I had booked earlier in the week as I remembered from last time you have to do so or you will not get a seat. It always seems to be the people who did not bother to do so who want to come on my table. Get your own! I was happy to get a share plate even if Ilana only had 2 pieces of popcorn chicken and said it was "too much".

It is getting on a bit since the Cartridge Family did a new album and people were even requesting songs they did not do or could not remember at this time.

Was a funny show and I appreciate going to see a band where I know most of their songs. I actually put away my camera for the second half and just watched the show too. Hopefully the new album gets recorded sometime this year I am looking forward to it.
