Brunswick Ballroom, Sunday 24th November 2024

Even though I was still tired and dehydrated from Festive Art on Windows the day before I was looking forward to this. For some reason I was sure doors where at 1.30pm and not 1pm until I got an email saying it was earlier than I thought that morning. Also the trains were not running due to a power fault.

Luckily I still managed to get a seat when I arrived and got the previous CD off Sarah and a tea towel after the show.

I had missed the recording of the live album due to really not having any money at all. I had someone ask me to shout them an Uber to get to the recording. Walk you lazy-arse! It wasn't that far from Yarraville station!

Strange that the live album is only the second recording from the band in all this time. People pretty much know all the songs at this point and at least half the set is jokes due to Rusty and also Sarah. I would say that the Junes are the funnier band over all but they hardly play these days due to Gleny being far away.

After the gig I decided to treat myself an Uber home from North Melbourne station rather than deal with the bus replacement. Did not go to see the band's St Kilda show due to going to a TMNT screening the same time. I don't really need to see them every time, I got the album off Bandcamp instead.
