I had not seen Don Walker for a few years due to not having a great time the last time I saw him. As time went on it seems that was a once-off and also Shannon Bourne had joined at the band in the interim due to Roy Payne unfortunately passing away. I did get to talk to Shannon which I had not really done since last year when he drove me back to Geelong from Sarah's.

Felicity Cripps supported but I wasn't actually aware there was going to be a support. She went well in her set with Shannon joining them for a couple of songs. Also they helped out on backing vocals for some of Don Walker's set.

As usual Don Walker started with Khe Sahn on the keyboard solo to stop people requesting it for the whole set. I was surprised that people were actually singing along for songs off Don Walker's solo albums and even one point Harry Was a Bad Bugger but about 2 seconds ahead.

It was a good night and hopefully I will get to see the band again soon and maybe actually pick up one of Don's newer albums and the Live at the Caravan Music Club one (the CD sold out at the Memo Music Hall the night before.)
