This was one of the very last gigs I got a ticket before I finished my last job and I wanted to go even though I had the Rosa Duet 20th Anniversary Show the next day.

As it turned out I was a bit too eager to get to the gig and the bar staff told me to come inside and not wait outside in the sun. Before this gig the Victorian accordion society had a meeting there and I got to say hello to Dave Evans who was just standing out the front after having finished it.

I had not heard of Alluvial Nuggets before this gig, not sure if they play too much as they said they mainly do afternoon gigs these days. Was missing a member but it was OK as they would not have fit in the venue in that case.

Before they started I got to give Edith the card for Exosquelette's first gig and got a hug off her. I had some brie and crackers to watch the show with and they even ran out of crepes during their set which Edith was disappointed with as she wanted some. Was a great first gig even though they did fluff a few songs as they said would probably happen.

Hopefully next time more people can come to see them including Tim Thorpe from Vital Bits as he had to do reception at RRR FM when they were on.
