Another one where I had vaguely heard of this show but did not really know what it was about until I saw Jet Stir as the demon Rattus doing a spot at the Queen Victoria Night Market "Flavours of Fringe" variety show and did not actually know it was him until after I had seen it. I regularly see him perform as one of the dancers for BBQ punk band the Burnt Sausages but have not been able see him in his other work until now.

The show is set around a demonic summoning ceremony and each of the characters has their own role in it with Lilium being the demon in charge and MC for the evening's proceedings.
Not sure when this is going to run again but I also don't want to spoil the entire show as it does rely on you being surprised by things in the show and I want people to go into it not knowing much about the show.

I would say that the show is a mix of cabaret, burlesque and drag and also something else since it mixes horror and theatre elements into it. This is actually the first time I have shot any drag performers if I can remember? I would have known if I had done it before. No, the Greyhound Hotel "Drageoke" does not count it was only that one time.

I did actually know photos would be allowed until Jet announced it when the show was actually starting. Was another pro-photo person going during the show who was a lot more into it so we shall see.

Each of the performers did manage to bring something unique to the show and also contributed to the rest of the show as hooded "servants" in the bits they were not on and kept it running along.

The sound and lighting worked well with the show even if it was not the best for taking photos at times which comes with the territory. The human eye can see a lot better than the camera so it was a lot lighter than you think. Quite a lot of smoke at the start but it did clear up.

Was a bit of audience interaction but they were not attacking the audience as I feared. Part of the thing about shows like this is they saw up front that some of the content of the show may not be for everyone. If you are coming to a show that bills itself as "out there" you kind of expect it.

I enjoyed the show due to it being a lot different than shows I had seen in the past even Boklesque that I saw in the show before was not the same as it.

Not sure when this is going to be on again but hopefully some of the characters have legs and can pop up again like Rattus and Lilium.
