I had been looking forward to this launch for a while but had not been able to book a ticket due to no money. I did get a seat but not right up the front as you have to book straight away. While I had meant to go straight from work to this I had an adjustment the day before and could not sleep so I ended up not working that day. Was for the best anyway as I ended up working the next weekend as it was.

I was going to go and have pizza down at Topilinos after but ended up having dinner at the venue which worked out well. Maybe not the hot dog next time it was a bit messy to eat. Happy to have the chips and get a pizza after. I had a pizza the next day to make up for it.

It has been quite a while since I saw Joel Silbesher, even walking around the place with his supermarket bag full of books as I don't live around that area anymore. Was amused by him asking who someone in Sarah's band was, hadn't they just played together for the gig? Sarah did get to do a couple of songs with Joel as did George and Fenn. He has been a friend of the family for many years so it was great.

Due to being able to listen more easily on Bandcamp these days and the ability to chip in more for a single or album I rarely get the physical CD these days but did for Sarah's album.

It was a great night and hard to pick a favourite moment. Thanks again to Sarah who gave me a lift home from the gig.
