CASH: A Journey Through The American Recording 19/01/25

28/28/2025

Henry Wagons with the Tennesse Studs - Dan Brodie, Si Philanthropist, Delsinki, Laura Baxter
Brunswick Ballroom, Sunday 19th January 2025

As I had already booked Sierra Ferrell and Gillian Welch & David Rawlings in January I wasn't sure I was going to make this one so thanks to Henry for putting me on the door for this one.

I had wondered if he was coming to see Sierra Ferrell on the Thursday but he was down in Frankston with this show.

It was a bit more hot than I would have liked but luckily I ended up getting a seat a bit into the first set and someone offered me some cold drinks.

This show was showcasing CASH: The American Recordings and a few songs at the end extra and one or two to make up for the sausage fest that the albums are with songwriters.

I thought the band turned out to be great, I had seen most of them playing with other groups and of course Si Philanthropist playing with Henry in Wagons.

As with the Linda Ronstadt show last year I got lots of photos especially with Henry going out into the crowd a lot.

Was a great show and well worth going if you get the chance if it is on in the future.
