Oakleigh Bowling Club, Sunday 2nd March 2025
I had missed this last time due to the Godzilla marathon and found out on the day that there were no trains from the city out to Caulfield. I would have gotten the train out to Glen Waverly but would have ended up missing the bus at the changeover and been late. As it turned out I was still half an hour early getting there even going to get Korean fried chicken in Oakleigh before the show.
Was quite a few people I recognised from shows at the Caravan Music Club when it was in Oakleigh even Lyn managed to make it. They do still remember me at the Oakleigh Bowling Club even though I have not been for several years.
It was a good show and a bit more relaxed than usual due to being during the day rather than in the evening. Afterwards I was trying to be smart getting off the No. 3 tram at Balaclava only to find the one day the Sandringham line wasn't running either and it was Sunday timetable for the trams so it was much longer to get home. Still worth it to go over to Oakleigh for the day though and will try to make it again soon.
