I had actually been at another show at Gasworks Arts Park back in March when I saw the poster for this show and followed the creator who immediately followed me back and asked if I would be able to come to the show to take photos. Also she asked if I could recommend the show to people and I said I would try. It is fairly rare these days that I will go see a band and also take photos without knowing at least one of the support acts. It had been quite a while since I had actually done something new like this.

It was wet and cold on the day and I got into the city too late to actually go and get dinner before the show but the staff at the venue were nice and let me take my bag in before the doors opened.

Was some interesting support acts for this show including an artist I had not heard of before but also the circus performer I had already been following which does not really say much as I follow most of the recommendations that I get if I find it interesting.

As it turned out I ended up taking quite a lot of photos, even more than I would usually take for a show like this one. I would actually need to watch it again without taking photos to fully take it in. Was still a great show from what I saw through my camera and I still managed to see a lot. Due to Andrea hanging upside down there were not really any lyrics and she only used the microphone for introductions and brief points during the show. It was a visually impressive show with all the acrobatics and the sound and light effects. I was not sure how well my photos turned out with all the smoke and haze but they were mostly OK.

It was a great show and I would recommend going to see it if it is on near you in the future. I will see how I go seeing Andrea in this show or with Pseudo Echo when they play in the future.
