Alison Ferrier, Ange Boxall & Freya Josephine Hollick 04/07/25

03/03/2025

Ember Lounge, Friday 4th July 2025

I wasn't sure I was going to this one until not long before it was on but had not seen Alison or Freya for a while so I thought I would go.

Arriving at the venue I managed to recognise Freya walking down the streets from her tights as I recognised them from the Counterfeit show. I thought they were playing with a teenager but it turns out Angie is a lot older than she looks.

I had to move chairs as I cannot sit on a stool for long periods, someone thought I had left my drink and chips and decided to message me through Facebook instead of, you know, actually coming over and asking! I turn my phone off at gigs!

It was a funny night, Alison and Freya could do a comedy double act. Angie had a lot of fun on stage and I tried to show all the parts where they were laughing even though the jokes were the "you had to be there" variety.

I keep meaning to see Alison's other bands but it never seems to work out. I will look out for Ange Boxall in the future and of course Freya!
