Corner Hotel, Sunday 22nd December 2024

Was glad to be finally at the end of the weekend as last year I still had to work the next couple of days.

Finally got to have fish and chips up the road like I had been wanting to since last month.

Facebook memories always puts up photos of Fan and Al gigs from previous years. I talked to Sarah about it on the Friday and said I could just put up an earlier year's photos. She said Dan's hair was a lot greyer now.

I did get to say hello to Michael and Lisa on the merch at the start and during the set break.

Was hanging out to hear Bernie so I could leave as the set break went for much longer than I thought like last year. Also, like last year was me hearing Dan sing "I like Fidel Castro and his beard" while waiting outside for an Uber. Turned out only to be $5 more to get an uber from the Corner than Newport, should have done that last night!

See you next year probably in the exact same spot! It might sound like I wasn't enjoying myself but I swear I was, it only seemed like it was a bit much at the time!
