Was looking forward to this for a while and been getting all of Loretta's singles as they were released and also got the album for someone else as a gift.

Due to annoyingly finishing work in the busiest part of peak hour these days it was not worth me going home and then going out again. I ended up at Welcome to Thornbury really early but Kat wasn't working so I did not go to Woking Amazing for once. It was still 2hrs before doors opening when I got to the venue so I went down the hill to Merri Creek Tavern and had about 4 cans for a lot less than up the hill.

Was not really surprised to see Mary and Peter in town for this as it was a big gig and everyone would be there. Did get to give Simone and Camilla a bag of lollies I got from the Westgarth. I got told I was too loud by Peter so I went and ate worms and sat in the band room for half an hour by myself and no one else.

This was Lucky Mitchell's first gig but I remember seeing him play with Jazz Party and taking a photo with a giant lens too close to the band at an outside gig back in 2017 (I was given another camera when mine was stolen). I thought he went well and had some funny bits in between the songs.

I had not seen Kaite May before but have heard a lot about her. I thought she went well even though she was nervous with the crowd that seemed to be more than she had played to before as band.

Due to already listening to the album a lot and Loretta being on most of the shows I listen to on PBS and RRR I knew how the show was going to go mostly. Was still surprised by the special guest appearance of the Dusty Millers who have not performed together for quite a while! It was a great show and hopefully Loretta sells a lot of albums. As Emily Lubitz said if you buy it on Bandcamp it counts towards the ARIA charts so do that!
